These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Faculty Hire platform. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Faculty Hire, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

These terms apply to all users, including candidates seeking faculty positions and recruiters representing academic institutions.

Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Candidate Responsibilities

Candidates agree to provide truthful and accurate information in their profiles, applications, and all communications on the platform.

Candidates may not misrepresent their qualifications, experience, education, or any other professional credentials.

Candidates may apply to faculty positions for which they are genuinely qualified. Submitting fraudulent or misleading applications is prohibited.

Candidates may withdraw their applications at any time through the platform.

Recruiter Responsibilities

Recruiters represent that they are authorized to post positions on behalf of their academic institution.

Recruiters agree to consider candidates fairly and without discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

Recruiters may not use the platform to solicit candidates for positions other than those posted, or for any purpose unrelated to academic hiring.

Recruiters agree to respect candidate privacy and to use candidate information solely for evaluating suitability for posted faculty positions.

Intellectual Property

The Faculty Hire platform, including its design, code, branding, and proprietary features, is owned by Faculty Hire and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users retain ownership of the content they submit, including profile information, resumes, and application materials. By submitting content, you grant Faculty Hire a license to store, display, and process it solely for operating the platform.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the platform without our prior written consent.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.

You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, other user accounts, or our systems.

You may not upload malicious code, disrupt the platform's operation, or interfere with other users' access.

You may not scrape, harvest, or collect user data from the platform without express permission.

You may not impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any institution.

AI-Assisted Features

Faculty Hire may offer AI-assisted features such as CV parsing and draft profile generation. These features are provided as a convenience and do not replace human judgment.

Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content before submitting it.

We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated outputs.

Limitation of Liability

Faculty Hire is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Faculty Hire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

We are not responsible for the actions of recruiters or candidates using the platform, including hiring decisions, interview outcomes, or any communications between users.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in prohibited conduct.

Users may delete their accounts at any time. Upon deletion, your profile and active applications will be removed from the platform.

Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) shall remain in effect.

Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

Before initiating arbitration, you agree to contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be notified to users.

Your continued use of Faculty Hire after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
