Candidate profile information (excluding your password and private contact details) is visible to recruiters who have registered on Faculty Hire. Recruiters can view your qualifications, experience, education, and other professional details when you have completed your profile.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We may share aggregated, anonymized data for analytics and reporting purposes. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Faculty Hire, its users, or the public.

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile and application data are removed from active use within 30 days.

Backup copies may remain in our systems for a reasonable retention period but will not be accessible through the platform.

Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, to protect your personal information. Passwords are hashed and salted using bcrypt before storage.

Access tokens use short expiry periods (15 minutes) combined with refresh tokens to minimize unauthorized access risk.
